NIKOLA RADAN (flute) a native of Belgrade, Yugoslavia is known as a flutist who explored and developed new sounds on contemporary flute in modern music. His master work was published in 1997 at the University of Arts in Belgrade: “New sound for flute in contemporary music and modern improvisation based on sound of cross-world traditional instruments.” Mr. Radan is the flutist, composer, artistic director and founder of the Balmus ensemble. After joining the Balmus group, Mr. Radan found a passion for writing music; subsequently resulting in his debut CD, Les Images Des Voyages, which has been recently released.
