Javier
Caballero (cello), born in Puerto
Rico, is currently post-graduate student of Rhonda Rider
at the Boston Conservatory and a member of the Balmus
Ensemble, Tami Machnai Ensemble, and the Tim Janis Ensemble.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree both in Music Performance
and Music Education from the University of South Florida
where he studied with Scott Kluksdahl and a Master's degree
from the Boston Conservatory. He has participated in the
Apple Hill Chamber Music Festival in New Hampshire and
the Festival for Symphonic Youth Orchestras of the Americas
in Puerto Rico. |
Prior to coming
to Boston, he was also the principal cellist of Tampa’s
Mostly Pops Orchestra and was a chamber soloist with Florida
Pro Musica, an early music ensemble. A frequent freelancer
in the Boston area, he has worked with the Fiddlehead Theatre
Company, Longwood Players, Reagle Players, Boston Lyric
Stage Company, and the Concord Players. |
